Sustainability

For a small, service-oriented enterprise, the ecological and social impact is low, but not negligible. Private and business activities therefore overlap.
 

Environment, Energy and Climate

• Business travel is done by public transportation within Germany and adjacent countries. Should air or car travel be unavoidable, the CO2-emissions will be compensated by a certified institution.

• Residing in Potsdam, Germany, we financially support the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research.

• Electrical power is provided by a carbon-neutral energy supplier.

• The Managing Director is member of the network “Scientists for Future” (S4F) to support the global climate movement by providing facts and materials based on reliable and accepted scientific data to activists, politicians, decision makers, educators and the general public. He also is a member of an initiative to promote a carbon-neutral energy supply for Potsdam.
   

Social and Peace

• We foster the education of children and adolescents in Ghana.

• We finance affordable housing for students in Bonn, Germany.

• As described elsewhere, the Managing Director is actively involved in Disarmament and Nonproliferation organizations.
